Post stim scan

Had my first post stim scan. All was looking good. My lining is 12mm which is great! I have 1 large 20mm follicle, a couple 16mm and the rest 10 and 12mm. I go back on Monday for another scan and it looks like my egg collection will be on Wednesday. So far so good!

I am not feeling too bad. I have aches and pains in my ovaries, but bloated and feel tired but otherwise doing well

Baseline scan - a nightmare

My baseline scan this morning did not go well. My cyst on my Left ovary which had apparently shrunk has now grown again. They do not know what they are going to do. I am not starting stims at mo, I am going back for another scan on tuesday. I cant see it suddenly going in a couple of days! This then leaves us with a dilema, to aspirate or not. If we dont then it will most prob grow when we start stims and absorb all the drugs. If we do aspirate, we run the risk of being cancelled. If we get cancelled then we have no NHS funding.
I am upset, I do not know what to do. They are talking about aspirating without any sedation or anything. Has anyone had this done? It sounds flipping painful to me. I suffered badly at the egg collection last time with diazepam and fentanyl!

My DH will not allow me to go through it without sedation and pain relief. It is my endometriosis that makes this so painful for me.

Has anyone had a cyst aspirated without any meds?

OMG! Egg collection is now Friday!!

I had my first and last follie scan this morning!!! I have responded so well they have pulled my egg collection forward to Friday!! (was meant to be Monday!!) I was and still am a little shocked/excited/scared/amazed!!

Nice nurse scanned me again. The fluid has gone and my right ovary should be OK to reach!!

This is really happening!! I was so sure I wasn't responding well as the pain I have felt has been less than anticipated.

lining: 8.6mm
R ovary follies: 4x 6mm, 1x 8mm, 1x 10mm, 2x 11mm, 2x 12mm, 2x 13mm, 1x 16mm, 2x 18mm, 1x 20mm
L ovary follies: 2x 6mm, 1x 8mm, 1x 9mm, 1x 10mm, 2x 14mm, 1x 15mm, 2x 19mm, 1x 21mm

I realise there are some small ones there, but there are 11 that are 14mm or over which is my clinics goal. Hopefully the other smaller ones will catch up in the next two days!!
