Happy ICLW!
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism at 16 and endometriosis when I was 18, I had a laparoscopy soon after. I have been on the pill since 16 to control my painful and heavy periods. In October 08 I was finally able to come off the pill and start TTC. This didnt result in a PG and I wasnt coping with the pain being off the pill. I had a second lap in June 09 followed by 6 months of ovary suppression injections. I have just had a 3rd lap in November 09 which was extensive, they removed all of my endo, my utero-sacral ligaments, my appendix and biopsied my liver as a nodule was found. Since then I have been recovering and waiting for my body to start cycling again so that I can start TTC again. I have an intial IVF appointment with a specialist on the 1st of Feb to discuss my options. My endo is very extensive and my left fallopian tube is destroyed so the chances of concieving naturally are small.
All I want like so many others is a baby...

ICLW already!!
I little bit about me:
- I am a veterinary surgeon, have been working as a vet for two years
- I am 25
- I am married to a wonderful DH, we have been together for 9 years, married for 1.5 years
- I have endometriosis, IBS, liver nodules and hypothyroidism
- I have had 2 lapsroscopies to try to remove all of my endomteriosis
- We started TTC last October with no luck so I had a lap in June. I am hoping to start TTC again after my next op which will be December some time
- I am on a 6 month course of injections to suppress my ovaries which puts me in a state of menopause. I have had 3 injections, 3 more to go! I hate them, I have hot flushes, cold sweats, dizzy spells and terrible emotions.
- I have a rescue dog called Maddy whom I do dog agility with
- We are in the process of buying our first house together
- I am on a diet and exercising a lot in the desperate attempt to lose weight and get my body ready for TTC again and be in perfect condition for when I eventually carry a baby.
- All I think about and dream about at the moment is having a baby.......
Today I have a day off as have worked 11 days and 4 nights straight. I decided I needed a day of retail therapy so have been shopping all morning! I am not really a girly girl and am not fussed by clothes, but for some reason today I wanted some new things to make myself feel better about myself and celebrate my weight loss! I bought a few tops, a shirt, a black jacket and some great shoes, they are electric blue in colour with medium height heels. I love them!!

IComLeavWe: June
- I am 25, married and a veterinary surgeon.
- I have a rescue doe g called Maddy
- We are TTC our first child but isn't quite going to plan
- I have stage IV endometriosis and hypothyroidism
- I had my 2nd laparoscopy 3 weeks ago. They could not remove all of the endo and so I am on injections to supress my ovaries for 6 months. I will then be having my 3rd lap to remove the rest of my endo
On a side note: I am back to work tomorrow after 3 weeks off work. Wow I am lucky to have such a long time off!! In some ways and looking forward to going back. seeing all of my colleagues who are good friends, I have missed them!
I have my MRI on Tuesday to check the nodules on my liver that they found during my lap. I am feeling so nervous, I am so claustrophobic! I am also nervous about the results of course!

Lost my drive
Not much else to report as not TTC. Feeling lost actually. The last 6 months I have analysed my cycles, every twinge and ache and now I am on the pill I am not analysing anything. I don't know what to do with myself!!
I am disappointed with myself with ICLW, I did rubbish. I didn't read and comment anywhere near as much as I would have liked to. Work has been very busy and in process of buying a house so ICLW got a little neglected this month which was a shame, sorry!

IComLeavWe
- I am 24 years old, a veterinary surgeon, married and have a rescue dog.
- I have endometriosis and hypothyroidism
- I am TTC our first child, have been TTC for 6 months with no success but am sadly having to go back onto the pill. This is because I cant cope with the pain off the pill due to my endometriosis
- I am booked in for another laparoscopy (my second one) on the 2nd June to have all my endometriosis removed and a HSG and hysteroscopy performed
I am desperate for a child, its is all I have ever dreamed of. Although I have not been trying for a long time it seems so long since being diagnosed with endometriosis and my first lap and eventually being able to come off the pill. Sadly I have not coped being off the pill and my period has got worse with every cycle to the point where I cant stand the pain and end up vomiting I am in such extreme pain. Back on the pill I go until after my laparoscopy.

AF still here
I had a word with DH last night and asked him if he thinks we will ever have a baby. He doesn't have a doubt in his mind which I guess is nice but he has a longer way to fall if we can never conceive. At least me being a pessimist, I am disappointed rarely! Lol
I am making progress with DH regarding getting another dog. We have had our rescue dog for 19 months now and she is wonderful apart from a small minor problems, but sometimes I feel she is lonely and would like a friend. I have told DH before that if I don't get pregnant soon I will get a puppy. He has always said 'No' but today he has agreed once we get a house of our own. I will hold him to that! Of course if I do become pregnant I will not get a puppy as is too much hard work but at least I am wining with DH s l o w l y!!
I am enjoying this ICLW, am trying to become an iron commenter, it is hard work but am coming across lots of great blogs. No where near commenting on every one's yet though!

CD6
I am enjoying the ICLW but am struggling to keep up with reading and leaving comments. It is nice to have so many comments and readers, makes me feel less lonely in life.
It is CD6 and I am waiting for AF to finish and so the baby dancing can start. I think we may have peaked too soon last cycle as when it got to ovulation day my DH had had enough! I think this weak will be spur of the moment sex, as and when we fancy it as I don't ovulate until day 17 normally. The annoying thing is I am on duty the weekend I am due to ovulate which is annoying. I hate having sex when on duty; you can guarantee you are in the middle and the phone rings with an emergency and then I have to rush out the house and by the time I get back the moment has passed! I have worked out my fertile days for the next few cycles and my cycle after this I don't think will be successful as I am away 3 of my most fertile days but we shall see. This may be the cycle I get pregnant! One can hope!
I am not sure what my feelings are going to be this cycle. Am I going to be optomistic or pessimistic? We shall find out!
